Doncare’s core services include Family Violence Recovery services, specialist family violence counselling, general counselling, Integrated and Intensive Family Services, Emergency Relief, Case Management and Social Support for Seniors.  Doncare’s op shops provide a magic win-win for the community – environmental sustainability, ethical accountability and affordability. Whilst the op shops are community hubs where people remain connected through volunteerism, the goal of the program is to raise as much revenue as possible to support the delivery of Doncare’s core services. 

As most non-profits, Doncare is predicated on volunteerism and its core services are funded by all tiers of government, the revenue of its retail operations and philanthropic grants. Despite increased community demand for services, government funding has reduced. .
