Environments

Environments is the central area where all the environments are managed. Here it is possible to configure new environments based on the client requirements entirely via Core dna admin, such as creating an additional staging environment for development. 



All the existing environments are listed in the main Environments admin page. Each environment can be edited by clicking on the “pencil” icon positioned at the right of each environment record. Perform other actions on each environment by clicking on the “three-dots” icon on the right hand side of each record as well, such as:


By editing an environment it is possible to configure them as per the specific requirements, such as defining the:

Hostnames

Hostnames assigned to each environment can be viewed by clicking on the “number” within the Hostname column on the main Environments admin page. That will list all the hostnames related to the selected environment. 



Within the hostname admin page existing hostnames can be edited, and new hostnames created:



To edit a hostname click on the “pencil” icon positioned on the right hand side of each existing hostname. Use the delete icon to delete a hostname. When editing an existing hostname it is also possible to define the environment (eg. main or staging, or additional newly created ones).


To add a new hostname to the list click on the “Add hostname” button positioned at the top right hand side of the Hostname admin page.
